The thing I like about Marsh is that he's not up there thinking home run. He is a hitter and wants to get it into play. Lots of line drives = lots of doubles.

Maybe the grit, but he's far more disciplined. Erstad had no approach (his infamous "I tinker" comment which explained why 2000 was a non-repeatable fluke).

I see Marsh more in the vein of Rusty Greer, with a bit of Grady Sizemore thrown in. Adjust for non-roid era.
