I would rather have better starting pitching and bullpen pitching which more than likely gave away all the runs scored by the Angels' offense.  At this point in the season, it doesn't matter who is batting......the only thing that matters is getting better pitching.  Once better pitching is established, the details of a lineup become more important.

Except you can’t wave a magic wand and suddenly have better pitching.  But you can easily not be dumb enough to lead off Taylor Ward.
