Pujols got released on the 6th day of the 5th month of the 21st year.

Pujols was 21 when he debuted.

That was 21 years ago.

Pujols is number 5.

The 6th letter of the alphabet is F which is the grade Pujols gets as an Angel.

Wake up sheeple.

How's the beer?

They could have paid him and Pujols announce retirement in dignity.  My point it's not just about retirement.

I am sure that was an option presented to him but since the release came this way he rejected it. To think there was no conversation with him before this decision was made isn't even close to logical.

Maybe also sending a message to the team that accountability matters? No more country club atmosphere

Albert at 666 homers may have been an uncomfortable number. Lucky for him that he passed it.

Remember the hugs and tears with Larussa to start the season? Could be more to the pale hose story.

LOL at the super fans on Twitter who are trashing the Angels org on releasing Pujols and how he didn't deserve it.

If they were really baseball fans then they'd understand why this move is good and beneficial to the team.

Agreed.  If by releasing him Ward and Thaiss get an opportunity to see if they duplicate Walsh them it would be a positive move.
