The answer is simple. Make Walsh the full time 1B, call up Ward to play RF. Pujols can get stray respect starts when Ohtani rests or Walsh is hungover.

I will say it again, the Angels will not make the playoffs if Pujols plays more than half of the games for the year.  He hurts the team on offense, defense, and baserunning.  I bet he kicks kittens after games.

I actually like Walsh in RF. I absolutely love his range and arm out there.

Honestly the base running hurts us almost as much as the hitting. He’s just so freaking slow and looks like he’s in constant pain running. It’s like that dude in slow pitch with a giant knee brace who always asks for a pinch runner.

Advanced numbers say he is a much better 1st than a OFer.

It's in limited playing time but his range numbers show it is below average.
