He could also lose the recall, but win the election.  I.e. the opposition splits too many votes, and he comes out with the most.

Agreed. And as someone who did not and never would vote for Newsom, I don’t support his recall. The voters lawfully elected him and he hasn’t done anything warranting his early removal. This is sour grapes from the Republican minority.

As bad as he is, the stupid voters in that city voted for him. Part of me hopes they are constant victims of crime so they learn their lesson with these stupid, woke politicians. Maybe then they'll stop putting them in office?
