So the bigger question now is....will Ohtani be able to make his first start this Sunday? Wouldn't be surprised if they move him back or even have him miss a start and use somebody like Sandoval for a spot start in his place

these new folks must not have seen Othani pitch in 2018. He Dominated, got deep into games and still had command issue 

 

Also these New guys must not have seen the 2018 spring traing stats for Othani..... They were awful.

This is also why you can't really hit Ohtani when he pitches. He's so liable to only go 2-3 innings. Until he proves he can go 5+ he should just pitch on his pitching days.

We’ve also seen Ohtani since then. What happened three seasons ago pre TJ surgery is irrelevant now

If he had a blister coming in, why would you pitch him?   We all know that blisters are bad for pitchers.  Why not rest him, let the blister heal?

They aren't gonna have him hit when he pitches outside of whenever they play road games against NL teams. Maddon's just flapping his gums there lol

Lots of meh in the bullpen.  Could be ok. Could be bad. Could even be above average.  Who knows
