We're at the point where we're hoping for Angels has-beens? 

I actually like Shoemaker, if only for the beard. But he's a pretty good pitcher, but has averaged 8 starts over the last four years. As I said a few days ago, I'd rather have had Shoe + Jahmai Jones than Cobb, but at this point I don't think there's any point in signing him. The only reason to add another starter would be if he were an upgrade over what the Angels already have, and I'm not sure Shoe is.

Cash Considerations has reunited with the Angels numerous times. I always liked how he approached the game. He was also a good clubhouse presence from what I read.

When he's off, either his Spilter is Flat or he's on the Dl..Shoot it's called the Il. 

But on a Minor League deal, It's worth the risk!
