Passan linked the Dodgers to DJ, not the Angels....  And even then he was simply saying the Dodgers could put him at third if they wanted.   Its in his ESPN story.

I actually read the Passan article, no mention of DJ and the Angels anywhere in it.  This is what it says about LeMahieu:

But there's nowhere to play them both.

The only way I could see this happening is if Fletcher is involved in a deal for a significant, cost-controlled SP, and LeMahieu is his replacement at 2B.

Still, that'd be rather confounding to me.

The belief is that the ESPN notification made a mistake, as they put the Angels instead of the Dodgers.

I guess since their names both start with "Los Angeles" they made that mistake.

As @mmc showed, the article never mentioned the Angels.
