Adell caught a very good break that there were no fans in the stands. They would’ve eaten him alive.

The jump from AA to AAA is the smallest jump. He didn't spend much time at AA so we are dealing with small sample sizes here. He's not even a year removed from getting at bats at high A.

Jo Adell always struggled the first couple of weeks when being promoted to a new level. It happened when he first got to Double-A and it happened when he first got promoted to Triple-A. And now, it's happening at the Major League level. I am hoping he starts adjusting soon like he has always done.

Which is why I’m not sure Eppler gets a pass, even though that may not be fair this season....the trajectory just hasn’t been encouraging....probably gets another year, I guess....
