It's his record. Same as the times now are Trump's. Nobody going to the booth are voting for what was accomplishments in the previous administration. They will look at their wallet and say, yeah, the Democrats left my ass in the cold while claiming I was a deplorable. F*ck them, I will vote wallet this time.

Um, OK. Obama's record actually looks really good if you're going by unemployment rates. Rates soared during his first two years in office (coinciding with the recession), and then consistently and steadily decreased in the latter six years of his presidency. That means 75% of his presidency (years 3–8) were marked by decreases in unemployment, leading up to his exit from the Oval Office.

I'm not trying to argue with you or create an us versus them mentality. Hillary's deplorables comment was so stupid, and it's one of the reasons she lost. But she wasn't calling every single conservative-leaning person a deplorable; she said (paraphrasing) "half of Trump's followers are a basket of deplorables." Really stupid and offensive comment, but it's a huge stretch to say that everyone on the left thinks everyone on the right is deplorable.

Regardless of the economy, I cannot vote for a man who openly solicits the help of foreign governments to help him win an election. He is either too stupid or too arrogant to even try to hide it.

Ok. If that's your line in the sand then by all means stay there regardless of how poorly your own party defines their policies and how they will accomplish their goals.

I am a registered independent. I don't have a party.

Same for two years.  Green four years before.  Regret my Stein vote.  Still preferred Bernie over Monsanto Hillary, though.  Hell, I’d be okay if a “left of Hitler” candidate like Kasich beat Hillary.
