I think it was for expired tags. They run the plates and his license and it comes back that he has a warrant. By law, a police officer has to take a person with an active warrant into custody. It doesn't matter what the warrant is for

The operator identified the subject as Miles M. Jackson, date of birth 12/5/93. She informed Columbus Police that Jackson was found sleeping on a bench outside of a bank, and was taken to the hospital after a suspected relapse related to a drug overdose. She informed Columbus Police that Jackson has an open domestic violence warrant out of case, with additional warrants for assault, falsification, resisting arrest, drug possession, and weapons under disability.

Where is all the outrage against black on black violence? If Black lives matter, that includes blacks milled by blacks. Police kill less than 50-100 blacks in a given year. Blacks kill 50-100 blacks in Chicago every month.

Amazing how the left makes excuses to relieve these individual from accountability but insists on blaming white Americans for  injustices committed 100 years ago

Also, it’s sort of interesting to me that criticism of state agencies of enforcement is immediately conflated with criticism of the “whites” and thus requires a defense from the people you’d expect.  Funny enough, these are the only arms of the state that you’ll ever see these people find any merit in.   Not sure what that means.  Something probably.
