They started duplicating our assay in 2017 I believe, and after an unsuccessful test method transfer this year they said fuck it we don’t need you and shut us down 7-31-2022

They bought the global license to a drug but want to keep selling it in the US and needed us for FDA testing, until they decided they can do it without us

Allegedly

More of our meds produced overseas. Awesome.

No, it is a drug for premature babies, however a larger pharma company was using it in clinical trials for covid treatment

I give you shit sometimes but hopefully you end up with a better job here. Dad lost his job in the furniture business in 2003. China probably ended 40k jobs in my hometown in about 5 years. Dad ended up working in China for about 6-7 years for 3times the money he made here

U.S. Will Continue Taiwan Strait Transits, FONOPs in Western Pacific Despite Growing Tension with China

U.S. warships will continue to make Taiwan Strait transits and perform freedom of navigation operations in the Indo-Pacific despite the recent Chinese live fire drills, the undersecretary of defense for policy told reporters Monday.
The U.S. Navy is expected to conduct some freedom of navigation operations in the region in the coming days, Colin Kahl, undersecretary of defense for policy, said during a press briefing. It is important for Beijing to understand that the United States will continue to sail in international waters where it is allowed.

China expert warns that Xi Jinping's latest power grab will likely lead Asia into war

A messianic ruler, already considered the world’s most influential figure, is about to get absolute power over the planet’s most-populous state.

What happens next will be remembered for generations. Chances are, Chinese President Xi Jinping will lead China into war.

The drama begins at the Communist Party’s 20th National Congress, which starts Sunday. At the Congress’s first plenum, which convenes immediately after the Congress ends, the members of the new Politburo Standing Committee will be revealed as they walk from behind a curtain. Everyone expects Xi to lead the pack as ruler for the next five years. Moreover, most think he will be able to exercise essentially unrestrained power during this term.

What will Xi do with such power? Among other things, he wants to redraw the map of the world, with force if necessary. During his decade-long tenure as supremo, China has stepped up efforts to take territory from neighbors, especially India, Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines.

World War III may be inevitable at this point. And if so I say we at least benefit from it.  Let’s get ready to invade Canada and turn it into North North Dakota.

South Korea scrambles jets as China, Russia warplanes enter air defense zone

South Korea’s military scrambled its jets after two Chinese and six Russian warplanes entered its air defense identification zone (KADIZ) without warning early Wednesday morning.

Two Chinese H-6 bombers first crossed the air defense zone shortly before 5:50 am and proceeded to repeatedly fly over the KADIZ boundaries off of South Korea’s southern and northeast coasts the Joint Chief of Staff said, according to Seoul based news outlet Yonhap.

After leaving South Korea’s KADIZ around 7 a.m., the two Chinese bombers returned some five hours later with Russian warplanes, including 4 TU-95 bombers and 2 SU-35 fighters, and flew over Seoul’s air defense identification zone through the Sea of Japan around 12:20 p.m.
