I have no doubts but if we have anything over their country that isn't in space I'm guessing they'd shoot it down if they could or at the very least it's more advanced than a balloon.  Every so often there's articles about Russian planes buzzing Alaska or some aircraft carrier while a Chinese spy balloon makes it over the continental US and our elected officials and military which spends more than the next x countries combined ponders what to do.

Right now, North Korea is probably thinking.  Why waste all this money on an ICBM.  We could just launch a weather balloon with a nuke or nerve gas or gas oven, and the US will be baffled what to do about it.  It's sad that this has traveled pretty much through the entire US, and nothing has been done about it.  

On the other hand.  Progress by the US military.  The UFO really was a weather balloon.
