It's possible that a good chunk of us might end up getting taken out by this virus when we are in our 70's and 80's decades from now.

Of course he walked in about 5 seconds after and I figured I had to just claim it. He didn’t smell it as he has never regained his sense of smell. There is no reason to think the sense of smell has to ever come back.

That's because unlike the US.  If someone gets the Rona in China, they immediately die from 100 bullets in a car crash, and not Rona.

yeah, I read about it a few days ago.  They pretty much did the same thing Astra Zeneca did, and based their vaccine off of a flu type vaccine.  But unlike Astra Zeneca, they changed their delivery formulation on the second dose, and found that it got a greater resistance reaction.  And like Astra Zeneca, it doesn't require special refrigeration and is easier to mass produce.  So this will be great news for poorer countries.

This will be an interesting study.  Too bad the results won't be known for months.

Watching "The Americans" TV show right now, on Prime.

Based on what I see in that show, I can conclude that the Russians kidnapped our best scientists and forced them to develop a vaccine.

Don’t think they’re dumb at all.  Quite the opposite.  They just didn’t do the phase 2 or 3 trials.  Which, for me didn’t inspire confidence.
