In the 1966 WS, who was the lone O's reliever and what did he do that was special?

Moe Drabowsky, who set the single-game WS record for Ks by a reliever with 11.

Coincidentally, he also walked in the last run the Dodgers would score in that series...in the third inning of Game 1.

True, and it was crazy good pitching by such a young rotation for the Raviners to not score any runs in the 1966 WS after the 3rd inning of game 1.

One has to go back probably to the early 1900s to find a previous WS pitching performance as dominant.

I know he was drafted by the Angels once(right?) but the name is escaping me.

That is correct, the 2nd time he was drafted out of Southern U., it was by the Halos.

First time was by the ChiSox 4 years earlier out of HS.   It was unusual that a first overall pick would eschew the money and go to college, especially to a decent but not super baseball program.

Here's one that I assume is a bit of an oddity.

What player (this year) has more triples and homers (not combined, separate) than doubles?

Try not to cheat and think of someone with at least 10 homers.

Also, no ones got this yet.

Randy Johnson

Cody Ross

Ryan Ludwick

Rickey Henderson

What do they have in common?

I'll even throw in another player

Jason Lane

Hint: It has nothing to do with stats.

I had to look it up. It was driving me crazy.

Good question. On the first question, I have no idea.

Is that your answer or does he have to do with the above players?!

Either way, you're wrong!

Edit: Oh..you meant for the doubles, triples, homers question. Good guess, but no.

Madison Bumgarner is another one for the 2nd question.
