That is a big chunk of the roster at or below the Mendoza Line for the month. We aren't going to win many games with that kind of offensive production.

IMO this also worsens the pitching, because pitchers know that there is no room for error. The offense won't bail them out, ever.

Why are people listing guys who are backups when they make arguments like this.   As if they expected them to somehow put up regular every day player all star numbers.   Or a guy like Maldonado who is never going to put up big offense numbers, christ if he did he would be all world. 

Most teams have issues in their bottom third, its the nature of things. 

In the month of June this team scored 4+ runs 14 times, and lost 7 of those games.  Thats NOT an offense problem.    Most of the guys you mentioned that are regulars were large parts in some of the games we did win. 

Everyone cant be Trout.
