I know that.   It's time for Scioscia AND Eppler to tell him that for the good of the team he needs to go, because any player with half a brain would understand that staying up here full time hitting .145 does neither he nor the team any good.   Let's see just how team oriented, he is.

If Scioscia and Eppler can't convince him to go to SLC, I'm okay with Cold as 4th OF.   It's better than hitting .145 as a regular.

Chris Young needs to go for sure (.580 OPS and bad defense), and Hermosillo needs to be called up to start in RF.   He sure as heck can't hit just .145.

Will Scioscia and Eppler cooperate though?

That doesn't mean he will refuse.  He's just one of many problems this team has so I'm thinking it's not really a big concern with the Angels.  The Red Sox just released Hanley.  They are of course a better run/smarter organization. For all we know, they have discussed sending Kole to the minors.  Maybe he has refused.  Maybe Scioscia and Eppler think he will remember how to hit.  Maybe the guy in the park had a present in his pants.
