Are we happy about the Skaggs for Trumbo trade tonight ? 

I am unsure.  Skaggs hasn’t pitched much.  Trumbo hits a lot of f*cking dongs.  Would be nice at 1b.

honestly the biggest disappointment so far has been Upton, Cozart and Simmons before this yr were average hitters/glove first shortstops. Pujols/Kinsler are old and were in obvious decline, Maldonado never hit, Valbuena and Calhoun are both huge disappointments but their ceilings as a hitter were always just above average. Upton was signed for big money in his prime and is a defensive liability, to see his output is incredibly frustrating.

True enough but the year before he was great.  Trumbo is what he is and it’s useful.  IMO anyway.
