Is Ohtani available to play today?  Oh wait, tonight's starter is a lefty, and there has been a pattern emerging where Scioscia will more often than not sit Ohtani against a lefty despite his availability to play.

Wasn't Ohtani quoted recently as saying he hopes he will be used way more often than he is? It's not like he's thrilled with being benched against lefties.

Honestly I want Marte to play more since he's swinging a hot stick, but Pujols has played every game so far. At his age I'd like to see a little more rest so he's fresher come September-post season. If he plays 160 games I don't see how his body will hold up.

Go figure SF would sign a guy named Holland. That city always trying so hard to be overinclusive and worldly. Probably think they're better than everyone else because of it, too. This coming from a guy who lived there for 4 years and has a lefty lean.
