I wonder if something is going on with Pujols? Seems to be DHing more than he was supposed to. I thought he was going to be playing 1B more often.

long season...I wouldn't expect him to play in the field unless Ohtani is at DH for the most part (or maybe a day off for someone like Trout)

The only time Pujols should be playing 1B is if he can't DH and the only time that happens is when Ohtani is DHing.

If Ohtani pitches every Sunday as he did in Japan, it's likely he will DH Tuesday's through Friday's.

Obviously, hindsight is 20/20 but the Indians won the Clevinger trade over the Angels in 2014. Angels could no doubt use him right now. Be a great #3 pitcher behind Richards and Ohtani.

Hindsight suggests that Dipoto lost pretty much every deal ever, trade and free agent signing alike, plus the minors.

The only one where he clearly won was trading Hank Conger to Houston for Carlos Perez and Nick Tropeano.

Eh, I liked trumbo for Santiago and Skaggs as well. But in general, yeah...I'm just glad that he is now off to devistating rival clubs.

And even then, so far we havent gotten shit from that deal.

Well Houston got a catcher that couldn't catch, hit or throw. We got a solid #4 starter and a good young backup catcher.

So if what we got is "shit", Houston got whatever is worse than that. Barf, or kidney stones.
