As long as he stays healthy, that's just what he dangerously does.   Trout, day to day, Calhoun, Simmons, Maybin/ Revere the x factor... Richards maybe returning...Meyer....who needs Verlander, right?!   

      Athough, could the Halos be that mystery team vying for him?

I wouldn't say he rakes. He's about a league average MLB 1B. Which is fine. If this team had league average players at every position except CF and SS they'd be coasting to a playoff spot right now. 

If Cron can raise his OPS to the .820-.850 range while playing the defense he's played this year, then he'd become very valuable to this team

Yeah but he makes more contact than Trumbo. Angels need to keep on playing Cron like everyday even when Yunel comes off the DL. His August numbers are outstanding!

10 of his 12 HRs on the season since the 2nd 1/2.  .258 AVG raised now from what what 1st 1/2,  .213 say?  

He mashes as long as he's healthy tremendous for this group.  

With Altuve having Trout and Simmons in his rearview mirror over that WAR Position Player leader, they might be gelling to the finish.

Angels have to decide to play him every day next year or ship him out this off season...he's proven he's not a platoon type player...

Yunel coming off the DL soon?  Just adds more dynamic.  Revere/Maybin in LF has become a nice problem for Sosh on his hands with Trout in there.  On the one hand you'd like Revere in there to lead off as he's seemed to regain form. On the other, you want Maybin in there against LHPs. Sosh handles it, though.

Seems a lot of that can be attributed to not playing the next day if he went 0-4...needs to play every day.

Makes you wonder if Cron might rescind to take the Cards Tix: David Johnson for up to December and playoffs then ST 1 1/2 months later; or, 1st 1/2 Suns season tix missing the 2nd 1/2 to baseball.   LOL

I'd lobby him to take DJ over the Suns but can't fault him for his loyalty at the same time.

Devin Booker is probably his favorite player on the Suns.

Ten HRs so far in the 2nd half is impressive.   For now, platoon Valbuena (vs RHP) and Noscobar (vs LHP) at 3B, and play Cron every day while he's hot.

If Valbuena or Noscobar need extra at bats, give them Ghost Pujols' at bats.

Biggest difference so far...consistent playing time...In the three plus months before the ASB - 122 Ab's, since the ASB (about two months - 114 AB's)

If it was THAT simple, why didn't anybody think of it months ago????
