They kind of are these days, sadly.  He is middle of the road for batting average in the AL for outfielders.  He is top 20 in WAR for outfielders and that includes his recent slump.  He is top 20 in OBP for outfielders.  He is tops in stolen bases among outfielders in the AL.  Sure he isn't perfect, but he certainly isn't a bad player.

Looking at the low batting averages for outfielders it really echos the fact that nearly 33% of all at bats result in a homer, walk or strike out.

I'm disappointed personally.  I like what hes done.  No it isnt stellar but its better than anything else weve had in some time or are likely to get in the off season so...  meh, take the lock off the revolving door i guess.
