I don't think Conger is this bad.  Unfortunately, no catcher is good enough for the Fat Man unless his name is Jeff Mathis.

Yes, the announcer is the one who calls the game, but where is the leadership? I see two guys in there collecting a check, not really caring about how they announce. Someone needs to get fired up, throw something, break something, say the N word on the air, ANYTHING.

Re goober, he means well but he's not capt obvious, he's admiral obvious - reads the screen prompts verbatim, droning on in his monotone delivery more this year than in the past;  I like Rojas, you can sense his frustration with the Angels and he'll occasionally depart from the company script with criticism; goober never does that
