Funny, Angels season so far is like a roller coaster, like Arch Stanton mentioned. Or as I like to put it, "Like a wave in the ocean, always up and down and up and down!" 

Pretty sure the pitching is hanging in there since the offense outside of Trout and Simmons has been playing like (bleep!) so far in 2017. But at least Pujols has been waking up lately, so that eases some of the stress. Batting .407 in his last 6 games prior to tonight's game, albeit, with no home runs. But the bombs will come if he keeps on hitting like that. Means he is seeing the ball well.

I don't care what point of the season it is, or where they are in the standings, watching the Angels sweep a division opponent always feels extra special.

Good to see the team build the record back to .500. Now they need to build on this. Pitching is starting to come around. Now about the hitting....

Our pitching has been better than "starting to come around" considering we are short Skaggs, Richards, Bedrosian, Bailey and Huston.  We need more length out of our starters and much better situational hitting.  A couple of blowouts would be great to take the pressure off of our pitchers.  Hoping that every night that 4 or 5 of our pitchers will not have a bad outing is not a good plan.

Skaggs isn't hurt and has pitched 7 innings in his last 2 starts allowing only 2 ER in total over those 14 innings.

I feel like I fall into this over and over again when in it always seems they follow up 4 wins with 5 loses. Like nando said.

I think we went through this last year too, where the team would look great for a stretch, then awful for another one. Ultimately we realized that that is just how mediocre teams play.
