Hector Santiago absolutely sucks. Dipoto got fleeced in the Trumbo trade

Give me a break. Trumbo did much of nothing with the team who acquired him(Arizona) and he didn't do much with Seattle, either. HE's finally having a big season a few years after the trade playing in a great hitters park/division. Santiago has had success with the Angels and he wasn't even the main piece in the deal anyway. Skaggs was always the big catch in that deal considering his upside. His production has obviously been delayed due to TJS.

So basically our rotation is Weaver and Shoemaker, a wild card in Lincecum, and whoever we can find in the minors for spot starts.

You can't keep running Santiago out there like this.

If you can't keep running Santiago out there, how can you run out Jered Weaver and his 5.56 ERA(and even worse peripherals than Santiago). Both guys shouldn't be in a rotation

They are two of the worst starters in baseball by any metric you can use. Better options than both of them exist all over baseball and can be acquired for very little, as they are both now worse than the hypothetical replacement player.

What the hell is wrong with Hector??

Honestly it's in his head, because when he is good, he is actually really good. I swear the Angels keep getting this reincarnation of Latino pitchers with good stuff but inconsistent outings (See: Ramon Ortiz, Ervin Santana)
