I'm pretty sure that we're going over the luxury tax no matter if he hits his incentives or not, unless they can dump salary somehow before the end of the season. Could be done by a trade before the trade deadline.

I like Jered in the pen because most hitters by the 6th inning have been seeing a whole lot of 90+ mph heat mixed with 83 mph change-ups. Weaver with 75-81 will definitely demand a major adjustment in their timing. This could be a nice little weapon in our pitching arsenal mid-game.
