Name the Angels New Rotation

Looking at the schedule, Nate Smith could slide into the rotation on May 14th with Rasmus getting starts on May 6th and 11th.

 

Santiago, Tropeano, Weaver, Rasmus and Smith.

 

Maybe at some point, very soon, go out and get a starter to replace Rasmus.

 

Not counting on Skaggs to return any time soon but maybe CJ Wilson in a 6+ weeks.

 

Not great but maybe see what Tropeano and Smith can do over an entire season.

Wtf is wrong with Wilson? 6+ weeks. We're looking at July-August? Why bother? He'll post a 4-0 2.30 era entering free agency

If Smith and Rasmus can be decent and Tropeano and Santiago be solid average, we may stick in this for a while.

I know it's asking a lot though. I have always liked Rasmus upside as a starter though.

I personally think that if the Angels like what they see in Lincecum today, they have to sign him.

Santiago, Trop, Lincecum, Weaver and Shoemaker

They could also look into John Danks and hope he can do better than Shoe or Weaver.

As long as Trout has a 16 WAR season, we should be good.

Tommy Milone has placed on Waivers by the Twins, and then there's Lincecum tryout. Oh John Danks has been DFA by the ChiSox. We are going to go dumpster diving.

I'm not ready to write off the season because of these injuries. If the team hits, we can stay in it. I question the Ortega move, but since they've done it play Choi so they can see if he has a real future with the team.
