Gameday Thread: Angels @ Brewers 5/3 5:10

The stadium doesn't even have the same level of excitement it used to. The fans that have a clue can't bring themselves to get excited or come out to the park.

I've been to 1 game this year (opening day) and I haven't been back since. It's weird but I'm saving money I guess lol

That's sad. I'm going to get to see two games in Anaheim and two in Baltimore. I've accepted the idea that the best way to make them fun will be to consume giant amounts of alcohol.

Seriously, look at how bad this roster is. This team pretty much needed Richards to regain form, Santiago to improve (so far one of the few positives this season), Heaney to repeat his rookie performance, hope Skaggs could come back sooner rather later and one of Trop/Weaver/Wilson/Shoemaker to step up for us to have had any chance this season. Instead half of our SP are hurt, our closer is hurt in an already thin pen, and the offense is even worse than my lowest of expectations. Sad shit.

The keys were Richards / Heaney / Skaggs / Tropiano - so far we're maaaaybe 1 for 4.

I'd bet the games in B'more will be fun, since they should be in the thick of the race.

I'm more referring to the decision to get Pujols and Hamilton which are two big reasons this franchise is so ****ed at the moment. Also a very odd move to trade pretty much the only two prospects for a defensive player and do nothing of substance to improve the offense. The fact that the minor league system is incredibly terrible makes this a bleak outlook for the foreseeable future. Ward is a nice prospect but other than that... This shit is just depressing.
