OK, I just looked it up. It seems like Ventura sued Kyle for defamation, then continued the suit after Kyle died. So on one hand, I can see your point, mt, that it isn't classy to sue a widow. On the other, Chris Kyle (allegedly) lied, damaging Ventura's reputation, and as much as I hate over-litigation, in this case it could have been the only way to address the defamation.

Widows shouldn't be sued? LOL the hypocrisy.

Anyhow, yeah, she's a saint: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/american-sniper-chris-kyles-widow-773524

All parties in this story: Ventura, Chris and his wife are nuts.

I think Chris Kyle's wishes about proceeds from his book/movie included him being alive to help support his family.

How is my POV hypocritical?  I've never sued a widow, in fact I've never sued anyone.

I know the story. Perhaps if he donated whatever he won to military widows. But he didn't. He's an a-hole.

He only lasted on term in Minnesota. Those kooky people even figured out he was crazy.

Why would he donate his "winnings" to military widows? Because the widow of who he was suing was a military widow? What would that prove?

Maybe that he wasn't a greedy, selfish bastard?

Regardless, I'm pointing out why I loss respect for the guy.  I couldn't care less what others feel about him.
