Channel 7 is reporting that the powerball winner in California is some nurse. 

 

Here is the catch.  If true, they are saying that the nurse received the ticket........

 

 

Because the boss bought 18000 tickets for his employees and residents at 80 nursing homes across California.  600 tickets were sent to the Park Avenue Health Care and Wellness center in Pomona.

A Pomona nurse won the record-breaking Powerball jackpot with a ticket given to her by her boss, according to a spokesperson for nursing home owner Shlomo Rechnitz. And listen to this – after she learned she won, she didn’t go home. She stayed until 11:30 p.m. to finish her shift!

 

 

Some kind of Jewish philanthropist that owns a bunch of assisted living complexes. I guess the dude bought 18k tickets, $36k for his employees.

Just found out that the owner has to give $500,000 to 7-11 headquarters since it's a franchise, and then his $500,000 gets taxed at 39%.

And if your boy Bernie has is way, that 39% will be closer to 79%.
