Cano is a Yankee at heart ... he chased the big almighty dollar and now he's stuck Sleepless in Seattle.

His WAR, SLG%, wRC+ and defense have declined in 4 years straight. He was a league average player last year getting paid like a top 5 player. This may be the last guy in the league the Angels should be looking to acquire. 

He's far from league average.  Plus, he was playing through a sports hernia.  

 

I would take Cano over Pujols right now in a heartbeat.  Adding him in addition to Pujols would be unbridled insanity.

That remains to be seen. Granted the Albert contract is bad, but Fielder has already missed one season, and in two of the other three years his WAR was 1.9 each of those two seasons.

Yep, that is the old, decrepit, and skanky Fenway we all love to despise.
