Fargo Season 2 (potential spoilers)

Season 1 was classic. Season 2 is great so far. I think the Indian dude is about to either kill or be killed.

I think the Mike Milligan character is fantastic. His interaction with Hank (Danson) and Lou (the other cop)...those scenes were classic.

I recently read the Mike Milligan character was originally written as an overweight, white guy in his fifties. Would have completely changed the character and the overall vibe of the show.

Seriously? Yeah, that would have made a big difference. To me it works perfectly. Loved his retort to Lou when Lou mentioned how friendly folks in South Dakota here

 

"Pretty unfriendly, actually, but so polite about it."

Yeah, that is a terrific line. The show is so well written, casted, and directed.

The part with the thumb was hilarious. I think they picked two perfect actors to play Lou. He's a great character. Kind of sad that we already know the outcome of his wife's cancer battle.

Patrick Wilson has nailed it.  The accent/cadence he uses as Lou is so good, when you connect it with Carradine's in season 1.

 

I have also enjoyed Jeffery Donovan as Dodd.  Burn Notice was always a "bad series that I enjoy", and I'm digging his turn as this character.

Something is going to pop from all the subtle weirdness, it's leading up to something.
