2. If Trout steals in Pujols/Crons at bat..Freese ties the game.

 

3. If Pujols/Cron try to move Trout to 2nd, Freese ties the game.

Insane to put all of this on him, as awful as his play was. What about the stellar work of Cron, Gia and Richards to gift them the three-run 4th? Or the awesome work in relief of Morin and Gott. Or the missed chances against Zito. Or the decision to put Featherweight in there for Gia instead of the vastly superior Jackson. There's no shortage of blame to go around.

Right, for the division we now need to sweep Texas 4 straight on the road, which isn't going to happen. If we win 3 of 4 we're gona need to hope Houston wins only 1 of 3 vs Arizona, which seems unlikely on both fronts. Any less than that and we will need to win back to back one game play-ins to reach the DS, which is also not gona happen.

IMO, the biggest chunk of the blame pie should go to Albert Pujols. GIDP in the first inning, and swinging at balls 4 and 5 in the 9th.
