When wondering why the Angels suck and why they'll miss the playoffs, I'm quickly reminded that they've let Featherston remain on the roster the entire season...and have given him 100+ PA's so he can put up a .134 BA. Just one of the many decisions this team has made that have made no sense to me

What do they see in him?

I can see using him as a defensive replacement....he has a good glove....but starting him doesn't even rise to the level of Scioscia stubbornness....it's off the charts....even though I disagree with Scioscia a lot, I can usually understand his reasoning....I can't here....

Where have THESE bats been since late July? 

 

As much as I want to believe, we still have several starting pitchers (Santiago, Heaney, Richards, and Shoe) who do not have experience pitching the amount of innings they will ultimately pitch by the close of the 2015 season.

Can we count on all of them to get through September?

Or is there thought of adding Tropeano to the rotation for a 6 man rotation to close out the season?
