Political talk/TV shows you actually like

Recommended Posts

OK people, time to 'fess up.  What politically-themed shows do you actually listen to?  I don't know if it counts (it's on KFI so it might) but I really enjoy Bill Handel.  Dude seems fairly even in his views, and throws shade on everybody.  I don't get to listen to his show often because I'm usually doing other things in the morning (sleeping, watching porn, posting here) but I enjoy it when I do.  If The Daily Show counts then I have that too, once or twice a week.

What do the rest of you listen to/watch?

I dig Bill Handel.  I download his podcast (if you know what I mean), but I really don't get to listen to it as often as I'd like.

If you have Sirius/XM, some of the shows on the POTUS (People of the United States) channel are pretty good.  Michael Smerconish, Julie Mason, Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.

The only thing on TV that's really worth watching is the John Oliver show, and I don't get HBO.  So they only time I get to watch it is when I'm traveling.  Which mean lately, I've get to watch it every week.

I listen to Bill Handel for 16 minutes as I drive to work.

I listen to John and Ken for 16 minutes as I drive home.

I occasionally watch "Special Report" on FNC.

I occasionally watch "Meet the Press" and "Fox News Sunday"

I miss Air America

...said nobody ever.  I admit, I tried listening to it a few times.  It was unlistenable.  It was like when Rush Limbaugh tried to do a conservative version of "The Daily Show."  Horrible.

It was great during the 2004 elections.

on sunday mornings i like to watch the george stephanolous show. i think it's usually pretty fair. i used to watch meet the press, but it was a great loss when russert died. david gregory was arrogant and was a member of the "gotcha!" media. chuck todd has never really made much of an impression on me.
