Which Angel player departure has bummed you out the most?

This is probably the most bummed I have been about a player getting traded or moving on that I can remember in my 40+ years as a fan.  

 

I was ticked about the Edmonds trade.  I was kind of sad to see vlad go.  Same with Trumbo.  

 

Who were you most bummed about losing to another team?  (non-celestial of course)

Howie because I don't remember Nolan. I was pissed at Lackey. But I am bummed that Howie is gone.

That was one of the more bothersome player departures for me, too.

I honestly don't get very attached to particular players. As much as I liked guys liked Vlad, Hunter, Orlando Cabrera, and Mark Trumbo, I wasn't terribly bothered by their departures.

Troy Glaus

I was really, really bummed when Glaus moved on because of McPherson. Former WS MVP, and was still in the prime of his career. Could have continued to protect Vlad in that lineup and put up 30+ and 100 for at least 5 more years. Never did find comparable protection for Vlad until Teixeira, and that was only for half a season or so. F'ing Stoneman!!

Wally Joyner because he was my favorite player before Tim Salmon came along.

 

Jim Edmonds, especially after the fact when he had his best years with the Cardinals. For awhile there, Edmonds wasn't far from what Trout was last year.

 

Casey Kotchman, but I thought he'd be better than he was.

Love the Howie trade, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss him. Hated the Edmonds trade. Even though it was the right time to move on, seeing GA and Vlad leave was kind of upsetting for me.

I think I was most bummed about Ryan but the first one I remember being sad to see go was Mickey Rivers. He was one of the few position players on those teams that was fun to watch.

 

Always sad to see homegrown guys like Howie and Conger move on.
