It's clear Trout isn't the same player as he was in 2012.  He completely changed his game and approach and it's been somewhat of disappointment to watch unfold.  He's still a great player, but he's nowhere near as valuable as he was when he ran the bases and created runs at will.  Sure he'll get the MVP this year, but he was much better and much more valuable in 2012, and I'm doubtful we'll ever see that Trout again.

Dude has got to shorten the swing and not try to hit home runs every at bat. Used to be so good at taking what the pitcher gave him. The strikeouts are getting out of control. His two strike approach is way too passive
