Royals, since their pitching is questionable after Shields.

Mariners would probably be the last team I'd want to face since Iwakuma has been so dominant against the Angels.

 

I'd go:

A's

Tigers

Mariners

Tigers' bullpen is a huge question mark.    Take Scherzer or Price out of the equation, and they are not that good.

Why would anyone want the M's? Sure our offense sucks ... our starting pitching as a whole is excellent and we've had the best bullpen in all of baseball for almost an entire season.

 

I wouldn't want to face the Angels just because of your offense as an M's fan. I'd prefer any of the other 3. Felix owns the A's. Iwakuma is good against them too. So probably them.

Tigers. We'd be lucky if the Halos face them since they're a bloated mess; they'd be a contender if Verlander wasn't so busy ****ing around with his phone. That dude is a real let down.

If the A's make the playoffs they'll be going in hot, with how much they've slipped, but they still seem like the most beatable.

Because I would rather face a bad offense with our pitching staff.

The O's make me a bit nervous I must admit.

I think the O's and the Halos are very similar teams. Neither has rotations that scare anybody, but they're getting the job done. They have shutdown bullpens and great offenses. Orioles have a ton of power in their lineup and are excellent defensively

It's almost impossible for the Angels to play the Orioles in the first round. Only way is if the AL Central winner has the best record in the league and they are currently 10 games back.

If you want a different perspective on preferences....

1. Seattle. It's a nice ballpark and there are easy nonstop flights there on Alaska, which will help me reach platinum earlier.

2. Kansas City. I'd like to see the Royals first playoff game in 30 years. Atmosphere would be cool. Also I'd get the miles.

3. Oakland. Ballpark stinks. And I wouldn't get the miles because I'd fly southwest. But a Saturday night in San Francisco on the workout day would be fun.

4. Detroit. I hate Detroit. I rank it 30th among major league cities.
