Splitting the first two games in Houston isn't exactly some fantastic development.

Right now..with crisp/gentry out and Milone in aaa/Chavez slowly coming back to earth..the angels (currently) look like the better team. Hammel has looked pretty bad, as well.

That would all change though if Lester comes to Oakland.

A quartet of Gray, Kazmir, Lester, and Samardzjia would have very few better than it.

Lester would also bring needed post-season experience with him to Oakland.
