I get that Weaver has had some innings blow up but having fresher bullpen arms later into September may come in real handy. Hopefully the offense can add a couple here so there is some room for error.

Can't take any chances when you're up 2-0 against Oakland IMO. You have no idea how tomorrows game is going to go. Especially with our TBD starter there may be no need for smith or street tomorrow

Yes. Not two hits like he did in July against Seattle, and the game ended up going 16 innings.
