new apple tv coming soon.

should include most of the stuff ive / others around here have been saying for years.

add siri (this was always the goal, use iphones to test/refine it, but it's main use case is for home automation. think back to the future 2)

they are going to go after the gaming market.

plus finally open it up with an SDK.

eventually they'll have a streaming service, but lots of contracts to flesh out with cable companies i would imagine.

pretty sweet.

It must be one of the apps you are running.  I seriously charge my iPhone once a week.

next time you're in town, please come over and help me. i've read several articles and turned off a lot of things, and none of it seems to make much of a difference. i'll buy dinner.

You can have the perfect setup.  But a lot of factors can still drain your battery.  Biggest is if you have a weak signal.  Wii Fi or 4G.  At home, and at school.  Look at how many bars you get for just wifi.  Then turn off wifi and see how many bars you get for 4g.  If either of those are low, they may be what is sapping your juice.

True.  The WiFi at my school site is for shit.  When connected, my phone is constantly searching for the signal, thus eating up battery life.  I elected to forget that wifi and go with 4G.  Battery life improved immediately.

One of the neatest rumors I heard about the new iPhones.  And I'm not sure if this isn't going to be a software thing updated to all iPhones.

If you take a picture.  It actually will be a 1.5 second long picture.  In reality it's going to be a gif disguised as a picture.  But if you look at you photo.  Say a picture of a lake or the ocean or even a person.  When you view the picture on the iPhone, not sure how it's activated, the picture will simulate motion.

It's actually quite a neat idea.  Although storage will be eaten up like crazy.
