Exactly! I'm all for signing as many of these guys as we can. Even if there's only a 10% chance that each one pans out, the more of them you sign the more chance that one of them lands.

 

We keep complaining about all these other teams making gold out of lead and the Angels never doing it. Well we have to sign these types of players for that to happen.

Someone will give him a 1 year major league deal. I highly doubt he signs here on strictly a minor league deal with an invite to spring training.

That's a bit of an overstatement. I don't think he's ever been "really good" at any point.
