So what exactly was that one biker doing?  Looked like he did something to the RR, then swerved into his lane, then slowed down.  Then when the RR got surrounded by the gang, made a break for it.  

 

These gangs have been known to slow down vehicles to let the rest of their gang pass the car. They also will do this so they can create a gap in the street so they can do stupid tricks. The guy had his helmet cam on for a reason. Probably getting ready to film their street tricks.

Pathetic, the family of the thug that got ran over are demanding "justice". Sure it sucks that he's probably paralyzed, but he has himself to blame. The guy also has a criminal record and suspended license. Seems like a model citizen to me.

Had something similar happen to me about ten years ago but with much different results. One Sunday our family was headed somewhere so we got on the fwy. A group of bikers, a bunch of younger guys in crotch rockets, entered an on-ramp right by us. A couple of them recklessly cut in front me almost causing me to hit one of them, so I honked, thinking he might not know I was there. One these but threads the moved in front of my car and deliberately slowed down to show me who was in charge. The rest of the heard finally took off after a couple minutes of this little power dance, and the moron finally joined them. I was afraid they were going to do something stupid like try and force me off the road, but fortunately it never reached that point.

I don't celebrate the guy in the RR running over anyone, but I understand why he did and what he was feeling.

If I were the driver of the Rover, I'd sue the dude in the hospital for negligence and negligent infliction of emotional distress...just for starters.  I'd sue anyone else the police identify for the very same. 

 

These idiots knew they were creating a hazardous situation and they knew they were putting others in danger.

 

Hopefully charges will be filed against each and every one of these selfish, attention whore-ing douchebags.

I think I read that his license was suspended until 2017 in Massachusetts for multiple driving violations.  Guy has no one to blame but himself and his idiot buddies.

I love motorcycles. I've loved them since I was a kid. Somewhere along the way my disdain for bikers won out and I quit riding. I still have a '57 Panhead in storage but it hasn't seen the road in years. Since neither of my girls wants anything to do with it I'm debating its future.

This scum of a cop originally wrote in his report that he showed up after Lien was attacked. But a video later showed him on the scene terrorizing the family as Alexian was being beaten. What a tough guy intimidating a lady and her 2 yr old.

They orchestrated the entire catastrophe with being reckless and terrorized a family. My dad has ridden motorcycles since high school (he's in his 60's now and still rides), and always had fast bikes, never a Harley.

His mentality has always been this: bigger engine and faster bike so that you can GET AWAY from danger, not cause it.

Motorcycles are small and infinitely less visible than cars. The 'biker gang' system is great for Harleys, it makes them visible. On the highway, they are generally polite and stay in the right lane, cruising the speed limit.

Gangs of crotch rocketers seem to not give two shits about safety or staying in groups. You see them all the time on the freeway, breaking up to zoom aroind cars, spread out across lanes, and being generally dumb and agressive.

It's goddamn frustrating to deal with.
