That point has been mentioned on this message board over the last few years, oh about 100 times.  I'm being conservative.  Its low hanging fruit.  The movie's producers were trying to tell what they thought was an interesting story.  Sorry it didn't fit some Angels message board posters' version of how they thought the movie should be made. 

 

Go ahead and make a movie about Zito, Mulder and Hudson.  It'd be totally awesome.

Don't win the division or make the playoffs might as well find something to get uppity about.  I can't believe someone even mentioned steroids given that there were Angels who were implicated from that same era when they won the franchises only title.  As far as the movie goes I was entertained and caught it home on a flight so it was win win.
