I had an Aunt Kay. She was from Nebraska. Just a wonderful lady.

i have a cousin in illinois named kay. haven't seen her since grandma's funeral in '92.

An epic rainstorm as the grand finale to the epic heatwave.

Packed up the Spitfire for the 4 day weekend.  Pulled out of the garage ad made it to the end of the block and decided it was too nice out to leave the top up.

I just got it half stowed away and it started raining. Fuck it, there were blue skies everywhere so I finished stowing it, wiped off the seats and drove off. I tested the windshield wipers and they worked so all good.

It is sweaty as Florida here in San Diego right now and raining on top of that.

Spitfire is buttoned up and ready for the weekend. Most of the show events are put on hold or canceled depending on the wind and rain. I expect by Saturday this is all going to play out like Key Largo with someone stealing a boat to escape with pilfered coffee mugs and t-shirts.
