That Spitfire is called Schmedly. The owner bought it 3 years used back in 73 and was dating a guy who was a mechanic. 50 years later she still has the car and the mechanic is her husband who does everything she asks for to keep it running and even painted it that green because she loves Kermit the Frog.

Took a quick drive to pick up lunch and it is hot, humid, raining and kind of miserable. Basically every day in Florida this time of year.

  I pull into the parking lot and needed to turn left while another other car had their left hand turn indicator on so I stopped to wait. The driver waves me forward and just as I start the turn the idiot pulls forward straight. Hit the brakes and she gives me the stupid ass female smile like, whoopsie. No metal contact but I wanted to get out and punch her stupid face.

Latest radar on Weather.com shows the rain being stopped by the homeless in LA.  So looks like zero chance of getting a years worth of rain.

No hard rain here at all. It's been consistent but very light, sometimes just a mist.

Its been low 90's to 106 here the past week plus. Don't think I've seen a stretch of hot weather like that in the 25 years I've lived here. Usually lasts 2-4 days, not 8. 

And eff all this humidity the past few days. No wonder people don't like Florida.
