I got out of work last night to gridlock because there was a little water on the ground. From the surface streets to the freeways it was all brake lights and people driving like idiots.

I don't even wear the snowboard jacket until it gets below zero.  60's is tshirt weather!

 

She wore it again and while I laughed she corrected me that it wasn't a snowboard jacket. I feel good about my manhood not knowing what kind of jacket it is.

 

It does remind though, I was wearing basketball shorts and a dude at the pub said I may have to wear pants soon. Not a chance.

Had water standing on the patio when I got up this morning. Must have gotten a decent dousing. Yesterday, 60 MPH winds - great when you have a pool and all the trees are shedding leaves.

I have a couple of umbrellas that spend about 99.9% of their time in the trunk of our car. I wish I had more opportunity to use them.

My daughter takes an umbrella with her if even one drop falls within ten miles of our house.

We hit record highs a couple of times last week (in the 70s), and this week highs in the 40s again.

We have already had 22 days at or below zero, more than 3x the average.  We are on pace for the coldest winter in over 100 years.  Not warming up any time soon.
