Helo footage of the work clearing Tioga Pass.(Yosemite to Lee Vining) Snowdrifts of up to 50ft and packed snow on the roadway 15 feet deep.. and lots of avalanche and boulder damage. There is no time table for completion this year. (It usually opens by 1st of June, if not earlier)

Today's high of 91 in Long Beach broke the previous record of 87 degrees for this date, set in 1960.

See, it's not always 135 degrees in Bixby Knolls.

Massive landslide on hwy 1 south of Big Sur.

Last time a slide close to this size occurred, it took 14 months to clear. Can't imagine how long this may take. Hope no one has plans on coming up that way.

That doesn't look like an easy cleanup at all.  Might be easier just to build a tunnel there.
