Good news for WA and CO stoners

Good.

I especially like the guidlinea and mention of not going after places simply because they are for profit or the amount of profit they make.

I follow a lot of this stuff closely because of business interests and want to see how it shapes CA and our laws/regulation since we have asshole attorneys that have a racket of going after legit businesses because it's a cash cow.

For both states there are going to be heavy regulations coming this year. Will be interesting to see if they throw in that crazy marijuana tax that was mentioned a while back.

It's actually at a weird stage because it's legal per state law, but individual cities have different agendas whether they let them operate or as passed by the Supreme Court, cities can shut them down because of code violations. The industry is using loopholes and grey areas to operate and the government is doing the same.

has the federal gov't weighed in on all of this yet? these state laws are directly opposed to federal laws, and as a matter of constitutional law/precedence, federal law trumps state law.

cals, do you know anything about the legal conflicts on this one?
