Looking at the starting lineup from last night, did you truly expect much more? When we're looking forward to JB Shuck or Hank Conger in the batters box to finish the game on a high note things are very wrong. Last night's game was symptomatic of the entire season. The Angels set themselves up for success, then failed to execute. While occasionally doing this can be attributed to the opposing pitcher bearing down and rightly deserving a tip of the cap, the consistency of failing in those spots over the course of the season puts the blame of failure squarely on the shoulders of the Angels players.

The thing about it is, it's becoming readily apparent that one could blow up this team using a firecracker, as there's little left to actually blow up.
